The screened in porch is located on the beach side attached to the cabin, has a table and chairs that seats 6 as well. The nice sandy beach, and the shallow sandy bottom swimming area, makes it perfect for a family getaway. Have coffee while watching the sunrise on the dock, or while sitting in the screened in porch. If you’re bringing a boat, you can spend the day on the water. At night you can start a campfire in the fire pit that lies close to the lakefront. In the mood for other entertainment? Our family lived at this cabin for the last year and we loved it! It has a very cozy and homey feel to it. It is clean, free of rodents (please help to keep it this way), and efficient. We have the internet, a roku for Netflix, and a DVD player. We do not have cable TV, but we do usually get two TV channels from the antennae. We have the largest beach in the area at 125 feet of sandy beach and you can walk out in the lake for over several hundred yards without going over your head. There is a 40 foot long dock and 2400 pound lift available for your use. Pontoon and boats are not for rent and do not go with cabin rental. A fire ring with ample woodpile allows for great lakeside bonfires at night. OtterTail Lake is one of Minnesota's premier Walleye fishing lakes at 13,728 acres (21 sq miles). It boasts holes of 75,90 and 120 feet deep and many flats and drop offs for excellent fishing and boating. There are gorgeous sunrises and beautiful moon rises and the many local loons will sing you to sleep at night. There is more lake shore in Otter Tail County than any other state in the nation with all of the other excellent local lakes. Bring your own or rent local boats, pontoons, jet skis and Kayks. Fishing Guide services are available in the area. Again, our personal pontoon and boats are not for rent and do not go with the cabin rental. You can golf at one of the numerous courses in the area including the Thumper Pond and Balmoral courses on the other side of the lake. You can shop at any of the quaint local shops in OtterTail City or within 20 minutes to Perham or Battle Lake. This is a great deal for this 3 bedroom cabin .

Otter Tail Lake is known for it's optimal walleye fishing and clean, shallow water for swimming. There are gorgeous sun rises and sunsets on the lake and you will hear an occasional loon singing to you. At 1100 square feet, our quiet, lakefront cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first two bedrooms have a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed (twin over a full). We do have a pack and play for babies or toddlers available upon request. Both bathrooms have a stand up shower. The cabin has a full kitchen and living room that overlooks the lake. Towards the back of the cabin there is a den that is the perfect extra space for kids to play. We do have a television with a DVD player but no internet. There is also another room with a washer and dryer available for use. Linens are included but please bring your own beach towels. The public boat access is 2 miles from the cabin. The Otter Tail area is great for vacationing. There are several nearby shops to enjoy, Thumper Pond and Balmoral golf courses, and plenty of delicious restaurants in the area. THE LAKE Ethel Lake is one of Otter Tail County's cleanest lakes and the lake bottom is fine grain hard sand, no rocks. Ethel lake accommodates fishing, skiing, tubing, wakeboarding and other water sports. The lake is about 1.3 miles long and 3/4 across, the deepest point is 60 feet. Water clarity is between 15 and 22 feet depending on the season. The boat launch is an 1/6th of a mile from the house. ABOUT THE LOCATION Otter Tail Lake Access is 3 miles from the house. Within ten minutes the cities of Battle Lake and Ottertail. They both have grocery store, stunning shopping boutiques, and delicious eateries. There is a quiet body of water near shore separated by a sandbar (sand build up you can walk on) from the larger body of water. This is the perfect place if you want to social distance?? Until then, renters can load their boat from the lake’s boat access or walk it in for parking on boat lift. For those renting a pontoon, we recommend one with sea legs. For summer rentals we have the best sandy beach on the lake. Enjoy golfing at Balmoral Golf Course just down the road. Have a camp fire or go to famous hangouts like Zorbaz on the Lake. Rainy weather? Enjoy family game time or grab the popcorn and watch movies from our extensive movie collection. Internet is available. Don't forget fall fishing and hunting in the area. Cabin is open from May-September. Bedroom 1: Bunk Beds with double and single Bedroom 2: Double bed Living Room: 3 double futon sleepers with comfortable mattresses and a single chair that turns to a sleeping chair. Ottertail Lake is known for great Walleye and trophy Northern Pike fishing. Come and relax on the lake and make memories.
